The Fischer flair is retained, the combining of inimitable charm and first class tennis will continue — Anke Huber returns to her favourite tournament as the Operating Tournament Director, organisers Porsche are complimented by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) which calls the tournament “world class”. The tennis displays are just a good. Good examples are Kim Clijsters’ wins in the historical semi-final against Frenchwoman Amelie Mauresmo and then in the final against the elegant Daniela Hantuchová."
